Thoroughly enjoying the Christian/Syed story at the moment. An interesting clash of cultures - sexuality and religion all rolled into one. Representation of the Muslim world is still quite unusual in a mainstream TV programme especially a soap. Seeing the male characters going to prayers and how important their religion is in their life is fascinating. Couple this together with the representation of a gay lifestyle and you have two of the most unusual representations on British TV. Very brave of the BBC to tackle it at 7.30/8pm at night and with some skill. Love to hear what others think.
