Year 12

You ned to start thinking about your director's commentary this week. That means that you should be near a conclusion of your editing.
You must address the following questions in your director's commentary:
  • in what ways does you product use, develop or challenge forms and convenetions of real media products?
  • how does you media product represent particular social groups?
  • what kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
  • who would be the audience for your media product?
  • how did you attract/address your audience?
  • what have you learnt about different technologies from the process of constructing this product?
  • looking back at your preliminary task, what do you think you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Some of the above questions cannot be dealt with in detail in the director's commentary so will be addressed by a presentation after the deadline date which is Friday January 8th 2010.

Year 13

Remember to upload any rough drafts of poster or mag front cover by taking a still photo and putting them onto your blog. Once there you need to give an analysis of your choices: colour; layout; image placement, etc.
